Palestine is rich and diverse. To study it you will find yourself branching into history, heritage, story telling, poetry, economics and political science wrapped in people’s resilience and struggle for self-determination. People spent lifetimes and careers studying the nuances of Palestine. In this book club, we attempt to share some of Palestine with our community. We hope that we can offer a glimpse of what it means to be a Palestinian whether in the occupied territories or in the diaspora. We hope that people can branch off and delve deeper into areas they find interesting while joining us in a safe environment.

We meet in public spaces within the city of Austin. Austin is a beautiful city with many local businesses that offer spaces for the community to come together. We support our local businesses and look for opportunities to utilize such opportunities to get together.
Though our meetings are in person nowadays. We are exploring enabling a virtual option for people’s convenience.
